its so weird to me that people think being “pro-kink” means expecting everyone to be accepting comfortable with every fetish out there no matter what and like… that’s not true. im pro-kink as hell but I’d rather die than see someone’s weird piss and shit art ever again. But honestly at the end of the day, as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, it’s ok to have your fetishes no matter how weird they are if they make you feel more comfortable and confident in your sexuality (whether you’re active or not). There will be people who will be severely uncomfortable with what you like, and part of being pro-kink is respecting that, because there will also be weird kinks that you will be uncomfortable with, too. Plus, it’s just basic human decency.

If you don’t want to see something you don’t like, that’s what blacklisting certain kinks and unfollowing people is for. It’s not that hard. Plus, those of us with kink blogs have to do our part in tagging the shit we post and flagging our blogs appropriately. This is the shit that gives pro-kink communities such a bad wrap. We all got to hold up our end of the bargain, too, guys. Or else telling people to use filters to avoid the shit they hate is pointless, and it’ll only get you a big face full of harassment in the end.

I usually don’t like to make callout posts but I felt like this is important. last night at an orientation event for freshman at my school, comedian and magician Andy Gross sexually harassed a student as part of his “act” in front of literally 7000+ kids. I wasn’t there to see it but after hearing from friends and many other people, students were leaving and actually in fucking tears by the end of the show. in light of this, he’s still supposed to appear on the jimmy fallon show in december.

it breaks my fucking heart that so many people had to experience that, especially since many of them are on their own for the first time and just about to experience an environment where you’re usually more at risk to be sexually assaulted. but we can still do things to help spread this info. people from our school have been tweeting fallon with the tag #AndyGrossIsGross, and we would all appreciate help from people outside our community to band together to stop shitbags like that dude from owning up to their actions. so I would really appreciate it if y’all would reblog this post if you can to spread the message and inform others about what’s going on, as well as tweeting to fallon under the tag too. let’s ruin this dude’s career and let the world know sex offenders need to be put in their place.
